The previous home game against Rochdale attendance was 5433 -taking the away following of (293) left 5140 Cov Fans
Yesterday attendance of 8085 minus the away following of (2097) left a total of 5988 an increase of 848 fans

Yeah there seemed to be a lot more there yesterday, it was strange though as it seemed pretty quiet and then people just appeared.

And long may it continue!
I already know about 5 or 6 people who swore they would never set foot inside St Andrew's who are all regulars now and really enjoy the matchday experience.
The longer we can keep this good form going, more will come.

The Roost was absolutely rammed yesterday, is that normal for a Sat home game?

Atmosphere was still poor and comfortably outsung again.

There were a group of lads stood right by the away fans in the blocks you'd put as a 'singing section' and yet people are asking them to sit down. Never going to be a good atmosphere when people are doing that.

Outsung when they were on top, definitely not after. It tends to be a bit like that.

It's paid off for them, they went out of their way to accommodate city fans. A DJ, coaches etc

First game of the season for me yesterday, great day. Had a good laugh in the Roost before the game, caught up with some old friends.
Enjoyed the game, second half was a great advert for League One. Ipswich are as good as it gets in that division.
We are genuinely close to being a really good side, just need a little something more, hopefully in January it’ll be made available to Robins to go and get it.
I’ve been over it before on here, footballs not my main focus now, but I’ll definitely be back.

If we move back to the Ricoh, the Cherry Tree has to take note of what the Roost does. Get a DJ, serve cheap pitchers and have quick bar staff. No reason why it couldn't be like the Roost is.

I've been in the royal george as well, even that is better than the pubs round here were.

Granted without a DJ and all the noise but it is usually rammed and you never have to wait long for a drink. Trying to get served in the bull and anchor while the one woman stood about was a pain in the arse.

So, the attendances have been slowly on the up all season, and IF for one game they dip slightly, you think were doomed. That's it? The lost fans!! Never to return again?!?! Nothing like a half empty glass after our best attendance of the season and a very good performance against arguably the best side in the division!

Pubs closer to the centre are generally better and serving more people. Those round the Ricoh sit on their arse all week then are rammed with football fans for a few hours. I hate new build grounds in the middle of nowhere.

No good knocking it. It stops us getting chucked out the league.
But being a paying customer you can !
It’s a terrible position to be in . Manageable while the team is playing really well.
Been twice. To long an experience for a home game when you have other commitments. I hope they sort something out soon

Getting cold, wet, dark and miserable. And shelling out for Xmas. You would expect a dip but that's encouraging.

According to the lady at the burger bar, the Roost is near empty all day every day and is only populated when the football is on. She also said it is far busier for CCFC matches than for BCFC games.

I took 2 family members along yesterday, (dad and brother) it was interesting to hear their comments on the way home, they picked out both full backs and O'hare as being good players, but thought our front 2 were very poor.

Eakin didn’t seem to mention the attendance like he normally does he seems so happy when it’s a bit lower and constantly says imagine what it would be like if we were at the Ricoh, he is another one with his nose firmly placed up the arsehole of the London side.

I think it is possible to speculate on how well we would be doing attendance wise at the Ricoh without being in love with Wasps. The potential for attracting old fans back and getting knew ones engaged is being lost through playing in Birmingham. It’s only the team’s performances that is making it palatable.

The glee in his voice if the crowd is lower is obvious he needs to get over the Ricoh we are not there and there is no sign of return.

Is it the first time our Birmingham attendance is higher than wasps last home attendance?

We've had higher attendances all season, once the free tickets that wasps hand out are deleted from their attendances!

Lincoln game attendance will be down on Ipswich attendance as Ipswich took 2097 fans - Can see lincoln taking less than half that amount as firstly their position in the league and secondly 4 days before Xmas - However, it is bit irrelevant the away following numbers as the important figure is the 5988 Cov fans that attended last game -

Took his goal well, didnt play well though,
Although you can hardly knock a striker when he's scored. I'd take a shit performance and a goal any day over a great game and no goal.
But having said that, he was piss poor first half, (by no means the only one) nothing stuck to him and he couldnt bring anyone else into play.
Improved a bit in second half, and his goal was the kind of chance he would have missed in previous seasons. So I hope that's a sign of genuine improvement.

So I take it if we build a new ground you wont attend as it will be in the middle of nowhere?
