I here from them about CCC and how they run Coventry, and come to the conclusion they are on a par with Cardiff, Borough of Caerphilly(Which is about 3 times the size of Coventry. It stretches some 25 miles up to the heads of the valley road at Merthyr along the heads of the valley road to Abergavenny, and down 20 miles to Newport) We all have shit roads and rubbish collection problems, what Council doesnt?

Cov council have fucked up one thing after another in this City, I'm not talking about rubbish collections, I'm on about strategic decisions that affect the citys future, it's nothing to do with cuts they've been doing it for years.

Safe to say Coventry has failed on many fronts to keep pace with similar and even smaller
Towns and cities, the leisure and retail offer in Coventry is truly shocking.
Coventry seems to have managed less well than most with the decline of industry and
Manufacturing, the result is a city centre that lacks investment, and gives nobody
Reasons to want to visit it.

Coventry has always been strong on swimming, it hasn't bused them in from Birmingham.
That's absurd. Birminghams pool is being built in a university complex and is a far more attractive proposition than a stand alone unit in Earnsford grange.
