We have received several dozen applications for the position, most of which have been of a high calibre. As reported in the media, a short list of suitable candidates was selected and interviewed this week.
However, after careful consideration, we have decided that Dave Hockaday is the man who possesses the passion, commitment and determination to secure survival this season, and a play-off spot the next. Dave will inherit the same substantial playing budget which was enjoyed by his predecessor, and will have the full support of the club's owners.
We believe Dave will benefit the U18, U21 and the First Team squads with his knowledge and experience. We are Coventry, and playing the Coventry Way will be at the heart of our success.
It also helps that Dave is cheap as chips too. PUSB.
