We've just been extended until November 20th but they've already announced restrictions to our German style Christmas markets. By the time the R rate is down long enough again it will be time for the seasonal Spring peak. Sadly, and wrongly, I think UK is done with fans until next season.

Also didn't the FA/Premier League/EFL decide to stop football before the government did anything last time?

Well they need to do something to distract from the fact that 322 Tory MPs won't pay for kids meals during the holidays but will happily accept £25 meal allowance per night in Parliament.

It’s more than a rumour I think, it’s a reliable government leak to the Telegraph.
National Lockdown announcement on Wednesday apparently.

What's point if keep schools open. Either needs to be a proper lockdown or don't bother

You'd assume the rugby loving public schoolboys will keep football going to keep us Neanderthal hooligans from uprising.

My daughters family, and subsequently oursleves, have had disruption because kids in our grandkid's classes have caught it. Annoying because we've all been careful and following the rules and everything was managable until they all went back to school.

Don't think there is any chance of games being played in front of spectators this season - unless the vaccine comes in early.

Take it from me I transport kids to school everyday there are a lot been off with this virus or symptoms, teachers too than what’s being said. Boris has missed a trick as usual should have locked down schools and Unis for two/three weeks around the half-term holiday. We’ll be lucky to be anywhere near tier 1or2 by Christmas had a chance had government acted earlier.
Certain football will become affected.

The Wee Welsh Town of Weird Sports

Several times each year, this wee Welsh town welcomes competitors for an unusual series of events, including bog snorkelling and man versus horse.
