The furlough scheme has been extended until end of October. There’s also a change in the scheme where staff can go back part time and the government tops up the difference.

Wouldn’t surprise me if SISU claim and put our staff on part time, and class our players as working 90 mins or whatever a week.

As an aside, I wonder how this works for part time non-league clubs. £2500 month probably gets fairly decent part time players.

(I know this post is ridiculous, but so is the scheme. Some of my own staff asked to go on furlough because of childcare / parental caring / shielding and are better off on 80% (have in mind 80% top line= 85-90% of take home pay and they don’t need to pay for petrol to get to work) and stay at home. Those who do work are beginning to get pretty resentful)

Some are and some aren’t - I see the point he’s making

I know, I mean upon restart whenever that may be. The system is so open that those of low morals may take advantage. Not mentioning any names SISU.

Yeah I can see the point that there could be resentment.
