Yeh fisher said on cwr he could run the club on 3000 gate for the next 3 years, sisu have budgeted for this and the new stadium :thinking about: players wages etc etc
What would happen if we got promoted this season, and next season? Sixfields wouldnt be upto championship let alone premiership standard, what would they do?

Would you prefer it if they didn't invest in the squad?

On the one hand, everybody is expecting a fire sale because of the SISU bastards. If there isn't a fire sale it's also the fault of those SISU bastards.

Considering we are on a strict rule from the Football League, we have signed a very well experienced International Defender and a young lad who has shown glimpses in his little time here to be quite a good acquisition, we don't need to pump it in if we can spend what we have in the right way.

Well if we listen to Mr Clarke, the fans boycotting SISU Northampton FC will have no influence on SISU. So I guess if we use his superior knowledge and skill as a reference then 1000 or 10000 it makes no odds

I however feel that he (Clarke) is talking rubbish. The NOPM cause is the only way to bring some influence on a company determined to deprive the fans of their club.

So Sky Blue Pete, to answer your very reasonable question. We can't.

I don't have an opinion. I actually believe that trimming the squad first is a better plan.

You don't have an opinion on whether SISU's investment in CCFC has been good or bad ?
Seriously ???

I was talking in relation to their investment in the present playing squad.

As for an overall view of their investment in CCFC, some good, some bad. More bad investments than good.

I guess that with the 80m odd they would get for premier league promotion they might offer the council a grand lump sum for the freehold? ha ha just a thought!

A £1,000 lump sum for the stadium? If they got it offered for £1,000 they would still try and get it cheaper.
