PUSB: From the Boardroom versus Accrington Stanley

Nothing really of note, the bit about where we play next season is irrelevant now.

"many of these youngsters it will be their first ever football match, and we all hope it is the first of many as they support their local team for many years to come."

safe to assume we may have put some of them off for ever

I think this is what pissed me off most about Saturday, it was a really significant game in regards to our future support and the players delivered that utterly horrific performance

A young lad probably about 10 sat near me said to his mate 'we could do better than this' and with some of the unforced errors being made I genuinely wouldn't put it past them. It really was sunday league stuff.

Most young kids support Premier teams so one match at the Ricoh won't change anything. And I know many adults who are born and raised in Cov who "follow" other clubs like Chelsea,Arsenal,Man Utd etc etc.
Let's just be realistic we've got our hardcore fans and on occasions we get a big crowd turn up for the odd big game. Saturday was poor but what's new !

Took my 6 year old Daughter on Saturday. She's been twice with me before (Shrewbury when we won 3-0, and when Colchester beat us 0-1), first thing she said as soon as we got home to her mum:
"That football was really awful, really bad."
She's starting to understand the idea of supporting a team, but after that, I fear that team won't be the same team as I support.
