I love that Ayao Komatsu The Haas F1 team principle. Who in turn is clearly a super fan. Brings other Cov fans who work at Haas to games.

He appears to be a great mentor for Tats and Tats appears to be a mentor and friend to the new Japanese kit man we have.

Said it before but his performance up at Sunderland in the play off semi-final second leg must rate as one of the best individual contributions in a City shirt that I have ever seen.

This season he has confirmed his status in an improving squad and has risen to the challenge of having competition for his starting spot from a £16m premier league player.

Tbh I’m not sure I should really care if he’s a nice bloke but he does seem to be a special human being too.

What a legend he is easily in my top 5 all time.

Has everything a fan could want excellent technical play and gives everything every game and always comes across as a lovely person.

Takes me back to Peter Ndlovu in terms of an unknown foreign player going on to become a cult hero.

So deserving for a genuinely nice man - particularly when you consider the way he fought back from his injury.

Occasionally you get a player universally loved by everyone. I'm sure you can all think of others, but probably since eg 1990, I'd say Ndlovu, Huckerby, Konjic, Gunnarsson, Hamer and now Tats. Possibly Rushworth too if he signs.

Literally beat me to Ndlovu whilst I was considering my list. Took a couple out like Whelan as I realise some won't have appreciated him for being a bit of dick on the drink.

I think sometimes being a bit wayward off the field actually goes to support cult hero status...
