Gentlemen.

Firstly, as a resident of Coventry I have seen what has happened to your club first hand and have seen how depressed and desolate it has left your fanbase. There but for the grace of god that would have been us. Rupert Lowe was a vain idiot.... but thankfully he could see a dudd when it appears in front of him.

As a club Coventry have tried to cut their cloth when the money ran out and deserve credit for that, in comparison to our hated rivals you have tried to do things the right way. The parallels between yourselves and us during our relegation season in 2008/2009 are more then just coincidental. I genuinely hope you can get rid of the leaches that are killing the club you love and fight back up the leagues as soon as possible.

For those travelling down to St Mary's, you will be amongst friends tomorrow. We take no joy in seeing a club so similar to our own on it's knees. You will fight back, you will recover, as long as you have a solid fanbase and spirit you will make it.

I am not expecting a victory tomorrow, indeed I still feel that the bubble will burst for us.... i've been expecting that all season. Regardless of result lets hope it's a day to remember; be it either as home celebrations or the first day of your fightback.

Well, considering the "worlds bestest ever fans" TM, 17 miles to our east struggle to get 14,000 through the door during their darkest hour and Cov pull in similar numbers, yes, you have a more then strong enough core.

If it is like with us, crowds actually increased when administration came. We wanted Lowe out with equal levels of venom that you feel towards SISU. Our crowds fell to the 14k level as people stayed away, not wanted to put money into his pockets. When Admin came the figures instantly rebounded to 20k+.

Hopefully so. And Moff, cheers for the post on SaintsWeb, sadly there is a restriction to 3 posts per day for non-subscribed members, it would have been interesting to see your further thoughts on there ahead of tomorrow.

Incidentally, if any away fans are looking for a pre/post match drinking hole, I can strongly recommend Yate's at the top of Southampton high street, easy access from the Train Station on the walk towards St Mary's. Also, if taking the train, stop at Winchester on the way back, some great pubs there with really good beer. I shall be in 'The Eclipse,' by the Cathedral ground there after, if any Sky Blues want to pop in they'll be more then welcome.

It wasn't Lowe that stopped SISU.. It was Leon Crouch and Trant who voted against them.
Leon Crouch also saved us going out of business by personally loaning the club, interest free, £2m to pay players wages.
The Lymington trader may have been a poor/naive chairman but his heart was in the right place.
He bought time for Markus (RIP) to come in and takeover the club.

My memory is obviously failing me, either way, SISU were resisted by the powers that be those few years ago.

Guys, you more then played your part yesterday, started so brightly and had it not been for Kelvin Davis would have been ahead within the first ten minutes.

To those that stayed behind after the final whistle or in the city overnight I hope you made the most of the day. You will be back, all the best to you.
