it’s funny how the phrase “shows how far we have come” is used frequently

Well perhaps consider this. The season sisu marched into town last weeks opponents Bournemouth we’re on the brink of oblivion. They wee one game from liquidation and being relegated from the football league.

We were 6th in the championship

Forgive me if I’m not too ecstatic about gaining promotions and a Third rate trophy we wouldn’t even be in the hat for before the Cayman Island Crew showed up

Yes. I’m bitter about this as well. Never forget.

Maybe that's why you hate Robins because you miss the buzz of the struggle and elation of survival

Well yes I’d rather watch football at the top of the pyramid than losing to Accrington or doing out local rivals Walsall - who on earth wouldn’t?

I supported them since 1972 and from 1980 to 1990 went to nearly every game and it was all better than the last 5 years

Do you honestly think Burnley fans would enjoy a checkatrade trophy over staying every year in the Premier a league?
Of course it was better when we were in the top division. I would take that over being where we are any day. Just surviving in the Premier League is much better than high in the Championship.

But this last five years have been so much better than the 15 years before.

I am definitely not a Sisu apologist, but the 10th place finish you refer to was achieved via the overspending business model that almost liquidated the club.

Wouldn't mind a guaranteed minimum £100 million a season for finishing 17th

I wondered how long it would take you to post a taxi picture. Obviously, we are now waiting for you to suggest Kenny Jackett as the next CCFC manager.
Good job you’re not selecting our manager

Grendel is clearly on the shandy today
We are as insolvent as every other team in the league. We are being entertained and a championship club with championship players is a significant asset.

Got to be honest, after the roller coaster of the last ten years I dont find the though of being a jobbing premier league team very appealing at all.

To be absolutely honest I would much rather be a decent Championship for a few years than being cannon fodder in the prem...just look at Norwich as case in point

There isn’t choices though and promotion would massively change the club beyond recognition

Just wondering what your take on the way our club plumbed the depths of the leagues? All credit to Mark Robins but the clowns who own the club took us all to a horrible place and took us out of the City. Not forgetting the stuff that went on before that.

Rant over. The team is doing ok now. Hooked the fans again. SISU needs to find a way of keeping them there.

This again is a stupid argument.

When managers are changed it’s whose available and who wants the challenge at the time and it’s clear as things stand our options are better the longer we stay in the top half of this league

How is it absurd? You must be able to think of someone at this level who we could afford who you think must be better if you think he is so bad?

Er so if he got a better club and left tomorrow who’d you replace him with

Viveash is the brains behind the operation so he’d have a caretaker offer anyway for a while in reality
