I think Westwood is a man that wants first team football.

Does Friedal leaving for Spurs make the Villa rumours even more prevalent??

Do you think the signing of King will influence Gunnar and Westwood to sign their contracts?

I think Westwood will be off regardless, there's a number of prem teams allegedly in for him. Gunnar though i feel might be swayed by the news.

What Jim said basically. I don't think any rumours or developments make a difference as far as we're concerned with Westwood, who I expect to be off somewhere.

I think its safe to say that Westy will be gone unfortunately. I'd be surprised if there was anyone that still expected him to stay. Good luck to him though.

Would make sense seeing as the next in line for the keeper jersey at Villa is Brad Guzan. I could see this deal very likely to happen tbh

I don't see Westwood going to Vile, I think it'll be Wolves as I stated previously. on the subject of the golakeeping merry go round started today by Tottenham I think that Villa will replace him with Foster from Brum. Blues is my outside bet for Westwood too.

This is a tenuous link to a Cov city thread.

Robert Green is off to Villa, so he would be bench warming there as well

Agree with what everyone else has put. Westwood is going whether we like it or not. He's been a great keeper for us, hope he does well and doesn't up floating around this league, he deserves better.
