Personally, I thought the lad getting chased by the stewards in the telegraph stand was entertaining. Best thing of the night.

It was a horrible atmosphere and you did get the feeling it wouldn't take a great deal for it all to kick off. After the first chap got on the pitch people seemed to be making their way from the naughty corner along the stands. Add in that they had scarves round their faces and hoods up to hide their identity I can understand it making some people a bit nervous.

Would probably be a good idea if instead of just dismissing it whoever is organising these things makes sure future action takes the comments into consideration. We need everyone to be united, don't give people, in particular Fisher, an excuse to have a pop at the protests.

The second caller named him as Pete chambers so I presume he has history from somewhere regarding these subjects. I just know the PC of the museum not that person.

Yeah I think the atmosphere was on edge at some points, sort of where you could tell something was going on.

That's the only reason I thought it was him because of the name, I'm not saying he is a sisu lover

There was a Pete Chambers who wrote a lot of nonsense in CET comments till someone revealed the street he lived in, but he must be stupid to use his real name and post opinionated polemic in a forum like that. (and no I'm not going to reveal where even though I remember, he may be a twat but I'm not into persecution).

Bit harsh to post his address up for that, surprised it's not 118 on there then.

Is it atmosphere on the edge which puts the game above all others in this country?
I don't mean crowd violence or disorder but pure adrenaline for 90 minutes.
Personally I thought it was great on Thursday night , the place was more of a buzz than any of last seasons games when we topped the league ,even with only 8800 in the ground.

There wasn't really adrenaline for 90 minutes unless blowing a whistle is exciting.

Much better when it's something like preston in jpt, or Peterborough when we came back. They were better than when we put 6 past bury.

Look he is a bit extreme and provocotive but if you listen to what he actually said it wasn't massively controversial.

I agree with this. There was a definite buzz about the place, and as an old un, I thought it was the best atmosphere we've had in ages.

I wasn't there, but it all looked very sedate and peaceful and done pretty respectfully on the TV.

People just seemed to walk onto the pitch and walk off again. Where was the menace and fright?

It wasn't as universally friendly as everyone likes to make out, I watched two paramedics being stopped from getting down to someone who injured themselves and the supporters stopping them weren't acting in a 'friendly' manner.

Basically he said that if you are not happy to, see your club dismantled completely, willing to watch poor standard football , resign yourself to a lifetime of lower league status , then stay away ! Like I said earlier , a total numpty.

Can't listen so not sure on context.

There's been times at games I've thought it hasnt been helpful, but others where it goes straight into pusb.

I wouldn't ever say they need to stay away, at least they are still there. If anything there's more unity with that as we are all jumping about together when we score, when compared to nopm for example. They aren't telling others not to go into games and are still there behind the team.

This was discussed before when he kept coming on in SISU's favour a couple of years ago. I think - if my memory is correct - that the other PC ( Museum ) ended up having to tell people that it wasn't him.

Did RS actually apply then or did they contact him ?
Bobby Goulds application is a given , I can only imagine who else would risk footballs equivalent of Russian roulette.

What a load of bollocks, if it's the truth then he should name one manager or player who wouldn't come because of the other night, they won't come because we have a shit squad, worse owners and a laughable joke of a chairman.

These people are allowed to get away with these rubbish statements constantly on that radio show but back it up with nothing.

Yet people on here say that players are only paid £800 a week, leave as the budget is shit and several managers have turned us down - backed up with nothing - and that's fine.
