Can't remember a previous season where there were still so many "big name" free agents available after transfer deadline day has passed.
Fernando Llorente, Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli, Wilfried Bony, Saido Berahino, Franck Ribery, Hatem Ben Arfa, Bakary Sako, and Danny Simpson all without a club.
I know that clubs can sign free agents at any time but as most clubs have to register their 25 man squads soon it still seems late in the day to have players who could be very capable sitting as free agents.
