Hi guys. I am an Owl, but Cov are my second team (owing to me living in Cov, and my fiancee being a Sky Blue). One of my fellow Owls has posted that Freddie Eastwood has been spotted at our training ground today. We are wondering if he is being loaned out. Has anyone heard anything?

Think you could have him on a free to be honest. The club are trying to free up his wages.

Indeed... you don't need the overhead of paying his wages - I can't see him playing for you again.

Thought he showed some class touches in his cameo yesterday. A fit Eastwood would be the best player in the squad. Problem is he's not fit.

Can see Thorn letting go to bring in a target man and a midfielder though.

Could be good for Freddie too, especially if Wednesday go up and we're relegated.

He'll go in the summer anyway as he's out of contract, so I suppose it's a case of swap him out for someone who is ready now.

Such a shame, the guy has bags of talent, and a bloody good scoring record when actually played up front.

Must be "good snap." at your training ground. Our survival chances will be enhanced if this useless twat is off the payroll.

Yep, and by not being fit has let the club down badly. I am not normally of the ilk to like the fact some fans boo their own players however I was a glad he got a few boo's, he needs to work very hard to get back, or eff off elsewhere.

not sure Clinton is playing too much, Madine has been their main man.

If I does go (and I would have driven him there myself) I hope Weds get promoted because you just know with Madine, Morrison & Eastwood we would be doomed when we visit them in L1 next season!

Is there anywhere close to your training ground that specialises in oversized-size caravan doors?

Perhaps he heard a rumour that McIndoe was in the area and he wanted his £750k back

I wouldn't go near him if I was a manager of any club. Totally unfit and has been a MASSIVE disappointment in his entire 3.5 years. Forget the out of position bollox some will use as an excuse, he's had plenty of chances at this club but hasn't taken them

I get the feeling he isn't assed with football anymore

Agree he has talent, but I'm not sure anyone will ever see it again

Eastwood a multi millionare so why be bothered to work hard when he's being paid anyway

I'm sure he gets lots of back slapping and adulation from the caravan and camping fraternity so doesn't need it from us

We have a habit of taking on the injury prone so I suppose there is a good chance it is true. I was so excited when he came to The Ricoh from Wolves.. thought he had been treated unfairly but perhaps Mick had him sussed out..
It would be good to get him off the payroll, though it's no way near an answer to your prayers. I have to say, I have been to a couple of games this season, and you played well (and won... perhaps I am a lucky mascot. Anyone want to chuck a free season ticket my way ). The win at the weekend was heartening, and I am praying for more good results.

He's probably looking for a new place to fly tip his wage slips?
