Fingers crossed its our turn to get some luck, battered last night like we did to crewe but yet we come away with the 3 points and another clean sheet. Must admit cracking result for Carsley. Still dont want him for the job. Saturday is a MUST win though Swindon are going to have to come all out after there on a bit of a bad run hit them with an early goal and the nerves will kick in. Must admit Cameron makes me nervous however the stats speak for themselves since hes been starting 4 games 7 goals scored 2 conceded.
Anyway only 5 points in it now keep it up City, BELIEVE.
When we had 29 shots on goal and 15 corners against Crewe and missed chance after chance after chance, many on here said that Crewe had got their tactics spot on and that they had out-thought us.
Telegraph described last night's clean sheet as rare. Bit harsh considering Carsley's crop of results. He's clearly worked on the defensive side and the application of that seemed to work last night from what I can gather. Crewe was individual errors costing us, and in comes Martin. Well done Lee Carsley.

One thing Carsley has done is identify the weakness in defence (Edjenguele) and done something to fix it. There is a clear trend that when Edjeguele plays we let a couple of goals in. If we can keep the clean sheets coming, there is no reason why we can't get very close to the automatic spots. After all we're 5 points off the playoffs, but only another 3 points away from 2nd.
Not a freak result at all. Not luck, all judgement. Great Defending and goal keeping, plus we took our chances. If you do that against Manchester United or FC United of Manchester, 9 times out of 10 you'll win the game
