Absolute tosh! Nobody in their right mind is paying £8m for Kitching. Very few clubs throw that sort of coin around in the championship

Not going over the top just feel that's why he probably isn't playing for Brentford I didn't say he was shit.

Onyeka has turned our season around.
Generally our midfield has been 5 yards further up the park. He has given us pressure & prescence. Look at our points total since he arrived. An inspired signing.

I meant he got caught in possession and gave the ball away a few times in recent performances, definitely against Hull who pressed us very quickly.

Thought he was pretty decent against Derby, wasn't at his best in Hull but no one was and it was his second game after being after with Nigeria.

He was absolutely great against Swansea.

Brentford loaned him out as they are now a team aiming for Europe, we are not and we won't be in the PL either.

He also has had the small matter of having a newborn baby arrive since he joined.

Even when he hasn't played that well, like Monday, our shape just looks so much better with him in there.

Bear in mind Hughes was being talked about in the 10-15m bracket. Kitching has to be 6-8. But for me he’s our best defender so I don’t think we’ll be selling anyway.

Kitching would go for no more than £4-5m.

Hughes (22) has a considerably higher ceiling than Kitching.

he wasn't playing for them as they have designs on being a top end, europe qualifying PL team.

Disagree. We bought him for that. He’s now played at a higher level and as part of a team that will be promoted.

There were reasons behind why Hull placed such an inflated fee on his head - namely being under embargo - so it's understandable that they wanted to retain their asset or basically risk him leaving and not being able to replace him.

I think he's decent enough though for his age. He has a howler in him however he's still relatively young and isn't all that experienced so there's time for him to iron out any issues.

All players lose the ball at times.....unless it's Middlesbrough who do nothing with it except for playing keep ball.

If he goes somewhere like Wrexham we will get a top price. But 8m for a Championship defender going to another Championship side? 8m is close to our record signing who is a very good striker.

Hes also Vice-Captain of a side about to be promoted and currently the 3rd meanest defence in the league.

Hull was pressing every player on the park right up to 80 minutes when they started to blow out of their arses. Every team we play now up their game
