I genuinely wouldnt be against him stamping his mark on the league with 5 bookings in his first 5 games tbh! We're far too weak from front to back. So soft. We need a bit of mettle in the team. Somebody to put it on the opposition toes and break up their play. Let everyone else play fancy football, you just need to get in opposition faces when we havent got the ball. Disrupt it however necessary.

1 down, 4 to go!

Absolute engine on him, and i think his busyness and aggression rubbed off because we certainly looked a lot more combative all over the pitch tonight! Im not saying its fully down to him. But it certainly helps!

Amazing the difference it makes having a capable, physical, energetic midfielder sat alongside Grimes instead of leaving him all on his own there!

He could be massive for our season.

Made the difference in there.

Calm head and got us out of trouble a couple of times in our box.

Yellow card maybe took him out of the game but still very good

Well I never had any doubts about our home form but we still need to show we can turn it around away, hopefully that starts Saturday

I meant about the Onyeka signing.

I'm not giving us promotion yet, we've got a lot of work to do.

Was impressed with the debut. He looks a level above Eccles and Torp

I mean, that's because he is! Anyway, great debut. Will give us a big presence on the pitch, and I think in momentum too.

Gives us something very different, and he could be a brilliant signing. Just keeps it simple and our better players will thrive of not having to do that work.

He is exactly what we needed.

I think he will also make a big difference away from home

Different players, not really fair to compare them Franks whole game is bombing about and breaking up play, he is exactly what we needed but Torp was amazing at the beginning of the season and will probably benefit from Onyeka around him if they get on together. I'm just going to enjoy the win and not slag off other players.

I'd quite like to see him in Grimes' role with Torp infront of him

Oh I get that, it wasn’t a critique of Torp or Eccles. Just that Onyeka looks a premier league player. Was all action, got stuck in - just all round energy

Shame we didn't have anyone in that role earlier. Nicely rounded squad now though. Torp has added a lot to his game definitely better at ratting back and recoveries than he was when he first got here but hopefully now we won't really need him to do as much and he'll be freed up to do what he excelled at earlier in the season.

Grimes was getting targeted I think, he was having to do so much that teams knew if they snuffed him out the midfield battle was won. Frank is going to be huge in rebalancing that. Hopefully Rudi can find some form even playing injured and Eccles will always bring energy and passion.

We are looking well stacked again just at the right time

We have BTA back, he can come on and be a difference maker.

Rudi for 60 and BTA bringing the power, pace and fresh press off the bench through the middle for the last half an hour is huge!

He’s a leader and a fighter. He was pumped. I was worried when he got the yellow so early. But he will get better over the next few games as he plays more with the new team.

At the end he hid at the back so obviously a bit shy. I like that

I thought he was very good and he's just what we have needed for a good while now...as others have mentioned he takes a lot of the pressure off Matt Grimes,we looked solid in Midfield tonight.

As I said above. It’s not a critic of them two, more that he’s the type of player we need next to grimes and that he looks a premier league player - the other two tend to leave Grimes unguarded.

he seemed to do what each of their roles were. He’s a better ball winner than Eccles and recycles the ball quicker than Torp

He's just really good ain't he, so his not a world class passer? Doesn't have to be to be great.

Yeah I had you all.

In all seriousness that’s the best performance i’ve seen from him so fair play to the lad. perhaps suits cov’s style more than ours. Nice to see him play well and receive a standing ovation.

Yet he did a few fairly clever passes, particularly to Saka. He is very aware.

Very Lloyd McGrath, and that's a compliment by the way. Players who break up play are unusual these days but essential if you want to succeed . I like him a lot.
