I thought FL came across really well, sounds knowledgeable, very respectful, but also sounds like he has a hunger to do well.

He comes across extremely well. Got a good feeling about this now.
The same could be said for 99% of managers. One major positive for us is that he has to succeed to have a future in management.You won't hear one Everton supporter say he didn't come across well, was extremely likable etc, but he was dreadful there.
These press conferences are designed to get people on side and get their hopes up but they have little bearing on what's to follow.
I do believe though that even if he does fail he will have given it his best with 100% commitment and that's all I ask. Hopefully though this is the time he gets it right.

He’s a successful bloke used to getting things right and people agreeing with himLampard came across well and is certainly a likeable character. He’s our manager now so we all want him to do well, but it certainly helps that he’s not an idiot.
King, however, did not. When that mask slips you certainly get a glimpse of what some of those ITK’s are talking about. And I’m not even anti King, but if that was my first exposure I wouldn’t be a fan.
