We won the league and cup at Maccabi Tel Aviv and got to the last 16 of the Europa Conference. He was also assistant with Rep. of Ireland and at Middlesbrough.

He left the job in Israel in the summer because well it was in Israel.

On their (limited) record alone it’s Keane every day. What makes you say that?

Way I see that is if he does here, we’ll be in the prem… who knows what would have happened then anyway Robins or not!

Possibly - but just getting us to the play offs may be seen as success by some.

‘From 16th with an angry fan base to the play offs with fans cheering his name’ type of story.

Being promoted and scrambling for a new manager would also be a nightmare start to the season.

Anyway, all theoretical at this point!

Maybe she already has spoken with him. This will have been ongoing for a while.

If we did go up and the manager went to a bigger club that wouldn't be so bad

if we go up we'll likely go down so you can get a manager in and build for the season after

Think Chelsea paid £2m compo for two years left which suggests about £20k/week at Derby.

So Lampard is not coming to Cov then - I think we can end all speculation on that unless some massive gamble takes place - just my opinion

How much is King going to have to pay in compensation then, if it doesn't work out and he wants to get rid?

Actually scratch that it’s closer to £35k looking at this £1.75m a year:

He can take a lower wage, he's that rich he never has to work again and he could see it as a chance to rehabilitate his career.

Who ever is on our short list will be affordable. It’s part of the process of going from a long list to a short list. The short lists agents will have been sounded out on likely interest and package expectations.

One thing I haven’t really seen mentioned on here is if he does come based on being abit choosey on the overlap and other interviews. He will bring Morris with him at least, who is by all accounts a fantastic coach. If the good intentions post is true about the quality of the new ones, think this appointment will get the coaching back to a high level and might tempt other coaches to join us (Thinking John Terry from Chelsea U21s)

I’m looking at the jigsaw here and some of the rumours. If Robins wanted the assistant the ex QPR guy and it was entertained but turned down, I reckon there’s scope for Lampard to bring at least 1 with him.

Wait till you visit some of Rome's more difficult areas. They make Wood End feel safer than downtown Dubai.
