He would need a decent swing of the bat. None of these players are his choice. Would they fit into the way he would like them to play?
If Lampard isn't given scope to improve the squad in January then he should be given longer. But if he is allowed to bring in the players he wants and still fails that's a different matter.

Maybe that RVN didn’t want it, maybe because Dutch coaches have a reputation for falling out with their players. RVN fell out out with 2 of his coaches at PSV.Just wonder why King didn’t go for RVN, clearly the majority of fan’s ideal manager from those that were seriously discussed. His overall demeanour is more positive and passionate, and he seems to play a decent style of football. I’d love to know what swung it for Lampard over any other candidate tbh.
