“….won’t be talking about players until they’re our players” - sounds like we’re close to at least a couple of signings then. Fingers crossed.

Don’t do that to me, just agree and then I can be happy.

Can someone explain to Rob G that a decent interview question doesn’t need his opinion in the preamble and shouldn’t allow the interviewee to answer with a single word? Please.

At the end of the day individual mistakes cost us. Milan with his positioning for first 2 then rushworth the 3rd.

Nothing Lampard can do about that.

Rushworth at fault for the Charlton goal pushing it in to players path. Milan and Rushworth both been class this season it’s just one of them we have to take it.

He can do something about MVE and JDS going forward too much and not defending enough. The cost is just too much at the minute, let EMC and Saka do their jobs.

That’s the way he wants us to play though, it’s worked out pretty well though hasn’t it?

Opponents have adapted to it. It's not working now at the level we're doing it, in fact it's an increasing liability. We need to defend wide more.

The goals were nothing to do with that. The first one Milan got sucked in to a centre backs position and the 2nd one he should of gone with the runner. Both brain farts.

Sakamoto also failed to notice that his man (Wagner) had made a run up the wing and needed tracking for the first.

Why did you end the quote there? He said “until they’re our players. Or not.”

I wasn't talking just about the Birmingham game. But you need to look again at the first one. MVE is past the half way line and central when the ball is put through on his wing. He barely chases back.

I do enjoy how yet again Kitching and Thomas totally failing to defend their box is given a pass.

That's where I'd like a more energetic midfield dynamo hassling in the middle of the park, which would give the defence more protection.
Although clearly not 100% fit, you could see (and I have watched him do it in the past) the difference a player like Stansfield makes with his work harrying players. Not many with his energy, but I think a midfield player like that would help our team a lot.
