Wright basically being spoon-fed answers via rhetorical questions. His answers are always so brief and Rob’s doing his best to prompt and probe him to elaborate more.

Quite curt responses from Haji.... ahh well as long as he keeps putting in performances like today I don't think any of us would complain

He is curt, but jeez, those questions (statements) are crap.

Could he be on his way???
Obikwu recalled from Lincoln, and Lincoln manager saying we were happy to leave him there for the remainder of the season, but changed our minds as our circumstances have changed!

Also when interviewed after the game Frank mentioned that in that mood Wright is a handful in this league, then quickly corrected himself to say "any league" which sounded a bit odd.

Of course I could be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5

I hope not if hes on form and nicking goals like the the first 16 games - he and Simms will help us with the target big time be tween them - different styles working for Frank as the tactics become more important with the whole of the squad available

With the latest news that it looks like Obikwu is being sold to QPR, i think its unlikely that either of out 2 CF will be sold, unless of course a replacement is already lined up.

More likely that Doug is balancing the books with 1 or 2 youngsters or fringe players moving on after the arrival of Esse and Mini. (And maybe 1 more incomming?)

Agreed not a happy bunny in this interview or after he scored.
Tbh on the whole Haji has had great support from our fans at games and from Lampard. If he's reading crap on social media or here he should know better.
In the end he's being paid extremely well to do a professional job, get on with it.

I have no doubt he heard shouts of "fuck off Wright", and possibly worse, as he walked off at Charlton. So if he's not in the mood to celebrate in front of the fans, or doubting if this is the right place for him, I'm not surprised.

If he been within thirty feet of B35 he’d have heard the foghorn woman who doesn’t fucking shut up all game slagging him off. I’m sure she’s not the only one in the ground. The way he gets treated is pathetic and he should be able to use social media like a normal person without abuse.

If he puts in more displays like he did yesterday while giving no celebrations I couldn't care less

Wright's personality is to be pretty guarded and flat regardless of the circumstance, but no doubt he's read and heard a lot of the really personal and in some cases I'm sure there were racist comments about him. He's entitled to not be effusive in the circumstances and just let his performances do the talking.

Why "supporters" insist on getting personal and abusive with our own players is beyond me - it doesn't help at all.
