What do we reckon? I’m going optimistic: new manager bounce and a healthy 10 points. WDLWW

I'd take 10 points from those.
(Given the players will be out to impress)

9 points wouldn't be too shabby.

Need play off form as a minimum to help us move up the table so looking at 2 home wins and 3 draws so 9 out of possible 15. Think we might lose to WBA so would need to beat Pompey which is the 10 points

9 minimum with Cardiff, Hull and Portsmouth to play. If we can't manage that against 3 of the bottom 4 we've got problems.

Between now and when the January window opens we play 8 games. 5 of those are against teams currently below us.
Hopefully by then we will be comfortably in the top half of the table.

7 points for me.
Millwall will be a really hard game especially away. They’ll just bully us and beat us 1-0

West Brom are a weird one, but we don’t tend to do well at the hawthorns. I expect to lose these 2

the other 3 we’ve got to be looking at maximum damage dealt

Anything less than 7 points will be extremely disappointing. I think Carr would have even got 7 points from these fixtures

was only a few games ago we beat Middlesborough 3-0 at their place and now people aren't confident enough we can beat 3 of the bottom 4 to say we'll get at least 9 points in the next 5 games

Only a few games ago we pathetically surrendered at home to Derby too. From where we've been anything over 9 would be outstanding, 8-9 would be good.
