Weird rant. If people buy it and money goes to charity then what's the issue?

you think thats a rant Marty was questioning why so many kits I was just point out when you've got a queue of people outside the club shop waiting to hand over a decent chunk of money for a kit they've never even seen that we will wear once thats the answer to the question.

personally not convinced about the 'its for charity' thing. they did the same knocking out £15 scarves for Poppy Day. For all we know they're only giving a quid per kit, why not give all the profits to the charity?

While I get the idea, if we wanted to do a FA Cup kit, couldn’t we have got Hummel to do an interpretation of the 87 kit. With the Red numbers?

Or couldn’t we just do a brown kit

We did that once against spurs and we were shite

Actually looks pretty nice on the club shop website. Better than the white away kit.

Shame only some of the profit goes to the charities but not sure how realistic them getting all the income was ever was going to be

Mmm, hope the charities get a decent lump sum out of it otherwise it’s just blatant profiteering once more. Some folk must have a good income I guess and can do them all

What's the issue even if it wasn't giving money to charity? "Blatant profiteering".

People don't have to buy it. I'm not. It's that simple.

Hopefully for the charities, regardless of % from sales, would be to not give any shirts to begging cunts in the crowd and auction off the match worn ones and give 100% from those.

They do that in ice hockey and it raises a fuckload of money. They auction off pretty much everything, game worn shirts, sticks, you can even buy the puck that was used on a specific goal.

Tbf my issue with it is the club are going to 'make a donation'

Surely we give the whole lot to both Zoes place and SBITC?

It’s terribly worded tbh. Just say a considerable donation

Anyone can decide not to buy the kit and instead donate a tenner to Zoe's place.

I like it.

Pity the sponsor isn't the charity's name, but I guess that they are contractually obliged to have Monzo on the front.

It's a t-shirt.

Its mystical powers are conspicuous only by their absence.

The law is about to change regarding accessibility for websites. To comply with the new regulations all websites must easy to read for those with poor eyesight. The designers of the 4th Kit clearly couldn't give a toss about those with poor eyesight, or indeed those with normal eye sight. We were guessing who players were by their haircut. The numbers were illegible. What on earth possessed the management to sign off on this?

How did we go from not being able to have stripes on the back of our shirts in case people couldn't read the numbers to having the numbers be the same colour as the shirt???

I asked on twitter why they just didn't put Zoe's place on the front. Got a load of reply guys telling me how it's 'against the rules'.

What's the point?

Are people missing the point that the sponsor and everything is meant to be hard to see?
