Sisu will not move out of cov for 3 years , no chance at all. No ground share, no new ground being built .

If that's the case and I have no right to knock your opinion why does he seem so adamant that the new ground is the way forward, a tactic? He wouldn't be that stupid surely?

I can't remember if the question was put with ACL saying they would attend a member of the trust put it to him so I wonder if they could answer it. It was fairly noisy where I was and I may have missed that can anyone else remember?

but surely building a new stadium will put us in the same position we are in at the ricoh? plus another £30mill+ debt?

As a business you have to agree with Tim/ Sisu.
Or there's no business.
A new ground is the only way for the club to go forward. 100% revenue.
But something tells me there's a twist to this. Maybe a third party coming in along side !!!!only my opinion

At least this way we have full control over our future and the income we make, if it could make a difference to Coventry City FC then who knows the sort of impact that a 100% owned CCFC ground might have.

Someone from the trust said they have an agreement to meet sisu next week if tim fisher is willing, they asked him the question, his answer while not actually saying it was no, he said he didn't believe they would meet and he said if they are willing to meet then its just a delaying tactic (freaking rich coming from him)

Just checked and it still isn't on the iplayer to listen again so I can't find out whether ACL were on board or not.

Paul Barnes is going to have to watch it. His salary is paid by Holdings no matter what the tax man says ,when the Club has taken £20 K. since seasons close .
I Bet half of that was from awards night. I'm sorry lads but I'm going to make a confession tonight .

I was in the Arena shopping complex and attempted to buy a new football for my Grandson.

It puts everything in sharp focus,a measly barrow staffed by 4 obviously familiar faces from the retail team, shutting up at 4 pm. and I couldn't make the purchase as they had no means to inflate it.

I was there. People had a chance to pour scorn on his views. People barracked him and made comments that may not have been heard on mic. But in reality I came away thinking that he is well educated but failed to answer questions as was expected. Surprised me how tall he is. The accountant was not very good at putting his points across. I think the SBT had a fair crack of the whip.

I came away thinking that we are likely to fold. Hope not and if this is brinkmanship from SISU .

I thought there were 220 people there. May be 60 of whom said they would follow the club in the City. 160 raised their hands when asked if they would not travel to grounds outside the city.

So with those figures in mind I think we are talking about 74% were against a move away from the Ricoh. I don't think Tim batted an eyelid.

He made it clear that the club is not for sale.

I got the impression that nobody changed their views.

It was interesting he spoke in terms of incentives for season ticket holders go to the chosen ground. Did not elaborate so can only assume it is a load of conjecture.

Tim slimy and dim said that the new ground will be in Coventry,so how will he get the council to agree to planning permission if as he stated "they will not talk to sisu" Does he really think they will agree to being left with an empty 32000 seat stadium ? Also I think any council just "over the border" would rather keep Coventry council on side !!!!

Do you think gambling with the clubs future is worth £600k a year?

Thanks for taking the time to post that, shame he had to cut it short by 40 minutes, was there any reason that the accounts/finance guy couldn't have continued. I'm disturbed that you think we might fold.

Well that's the only thing that stumps me, SISU knew of this issue with the rent they said so tonight, so why they didn't use the previous agreement and build a stadium in 2007? Why wait till they have lost the trust of the fans, respect of the fans, racked up almost £70,000,000 worth of debt, got us relegated from the championship, made our club look like a right laughing stock and forced into administration to decide that lightbulb in there heads can be switched on..

I still blame Onye Igwe (Useless prick if I have ever seen one)

I think this is where Grendel is correct. The reason it is bollox is because it is not a rational argument and a proper debate would end up showing what utter bollox it is.

I am happy that acl, Ccc and Alan Higgs have all said no to Sisu as they cannot be trusted. And because of this Tim tell us the price and go

I would hate to gamble the clubs future, but I don't see any other choice, I would love to be at the Ricoh in a business model that suits us, but while I am at it I would love to win the lottery and drive to work in RS6 every day but won't happen..

If the clus IS NOT for sale, why have we got an administrator appointing people to buy the club? That's a waste of £350 per hour?

I see the biggest issue being Fisher's admission that a club in administration cannot countenance a ground share.

So what, therefore, if we don't come out if administration on a timely basis? He can't progress the ground share arrangement. And this is out of his control.

First games are, what? Seven weeks away. Surely there's a point at which his grand plans are buggered?

Completely agree, but it doesn't matter while we are in Admin there can be no decision so it will be very interesting what the next few weeks hold.
