I didn't watch the pre season game from the other day, but any idea on the choice of formation we are using?
I'd imagine it was a 4-2-3-1 blended 4-4-2 out of possession like last season, but noticed several people discussing lately on the use of 3-1-6 for a more attractive and attacking based football.
Someone mentioned Cov using this and unsure who it was, but the Liverpool team currently using it looks defensively liable to anything on the counter (probably not the best example to use but interesting to see it in-game). Would it really be worth it or a case of 'we will score one more than you'??
