is wills not fit if hes fit i would play him and cameron at cb ----------dunn------------
christie---wills---cameron---reckford
----thomas----henderson-----
baker------fleck-------hussey
------mcgoldrick----
Baker and Hendo obviously fighting it out to start (it's more than likely Hendo will play ahead of Barton) and we'll prob get a loan CB so he'll start.
It's all cofidence, we get that 1st win, we (hopefully) will go on a run, lets start ASAP!
Think we will end up seeing something like this
---------Murphy
Clarke--Brown--Cameron--Reckord
-------Thomas--Henderson
Baker-------Fleck-------Moussa
------------Mcgoldrick
Think Wood and Hussey will be leaving with possibly 1 or 2 more, equally think we could see 1 or 2 more loan players coming into that starting line up
If only we could ship Wood, he has been so halfhearted in his efforts, but other posters have said he is on a big contract & won't go willingly, we would have to pay a percentage till the end of his time here to anyone who took him. Till next summer sometime I think..
I think you may be right assuming he signed a 3 year contract when he joined, I don't remember him signing a new contract whilst here, he signed January 2010. which would mean it would expire Summer 2013 meaning the contract would be 3 1/2 years
THE central defender moved to the Sky Blues permanently in the January 2010 transfer window after an initial three-month loan move from Sheffield Wednesday.
Wood, a Sheffield boy born and bred, rose through the ranks of the Owls academy and eventually went on to captain the side before moving to the Ricoh Arena on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
He has since worn the captain's armband and scored his first goal for the club in a last gasp draw at QPR in November 2009.
