I'm not slating the manager but maybe it's time for a change of formation? I'd personally try wingbacks. What does everyone else think?

Great, so we've got about 6 central mids and no wingers still, not sure what formation we could use other than the diamond.

Should have put Gardner behind the front 2 and Baker in the middle today, or Gael. Or Jim the Gateman. Play your best players where they are comfortable, let the crap ones be slightly more crap in the other positions.

One up front wouldn't exactly help our shot shy team though would it. Would probably be like when we drop off after we go ahead and lead to us getting hammered.

It's not like our midfield will suddenly learn how to break beyond the strikers is it?

433/451, discussed it to death and can't be bothered going into detail yet again. Agreed that the diamond is a busted flush, though.

If it wad the diamond then Gardner played LCM not LM. I can see the reasoning behind it as he is a box-to-box midfielder, and that position would allow him to break forward past baker and the front two, meaning that we have 4 breaking forward, which would give the midfield more movement. This is what Gunnar did at the back end of last season.

Just going from what Gardner said his interview, he called the position LM. Seems the players don't even know where they should be playing
