Was pleased to hear Venus admit that the 4 4 2 formation in the first half failed.. we looked like we did under Mowbray the first 10 games in the first half - Slow, predictable and mistake prone. Heard someone say on CWR phone in that Tudgay should never wear a Cov shirt again lol little harsh but he literally brings nothing to the team at all. Was just waiting how long it took Venus to revert to 4 3 3 as we needed the spare man in the middle to release Stevenson to get a bit of space to get us moving forward, fair play Venus made the changes at just the time with the right personnel. Great to have Andy Rose back as this formation suits his game to the ground. The box to box role is made for his game and he will be a massive player for us. Shown he can finish and get in the box and cause problems. The Scunny game a week Saturday will show us where we are but IMO we need to play 4 3 3 from the start as it suits the players at the club
