I was talking about contracts in general, like footballers contracts, not our specific training contract. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

So you were talking about players moving under the Bosman ruling, not sure what relevance that has to hiring a training facility. Wouldn't that work the same way in football as it does in every other walk of life?

Some right strange folk about. Supporting a council, a charity and franchise rugby club over their own football club. Just to get one up on SISU. Well, give it a couple of years and you can all throw a street party in honour of ridding SISU from the football club. Oh and the football club from the City. You can all dance and rejoice and pat each other on the back. Invite your heroes Ann Lucas, PWKH and Kevin Maton. Picking fault with your own clubs statement rather than picking up fault with a franchise rugby club. It's shocking and appalling. I don't buy this superfan if you go to every game or no games shit. What I think though is you stand up for your club no matter what, shame others don't agree.

How dare you have an opinion that generalises things , shame on you for leaving yourself open to a pedantic reply !

Yep, contracts in general, the ones that have an end date, that make them different, for that very specific reason, to contracts that don't have an end date. It was a general example for anyone having difficulty with grasping contracts that end.

End of the day like with Ricoh.
It's quite simply a case of the boy who cried wolf.
When you are threatening to go elsewhere.
If your landlord gets a more permanent solution
Then you try and change your stance
Unfortunately you can only have yourself to blame

It's the City's football club we are talking about or have I missed something? People think it's ok because SISU said this and did that. Yet at the same time want SISU to invest but think it's ok the club are being shafted. What on earth is it?!

It's laughable really.

Our fans must be easy prey for the pr stuff, same with the trust.

Have a look at Bob's thread about the new season, must be painful for some football is starting.

You get the feeling some people would be devastated if the club had a successful season. It's about damaging SISU above anything else.

People don't think it's ok.

They just have enough brain capacity to understand why it is happening and who carries the loin's share of the blame.
The fact SISU own the football doesn't mean that you blindly defend every decision they make, especially when the repercussions of those decisions are devastating for the club at every level !!!!

Yes if you disagree with the decisions our owners have made. That are now having devistating repercussions on our club.

You must really hate watching football

So why are they so bothered about public opinion of them? Have a look at the thread on here saying Boycott them. If there was pressure on Wasps they would shit themselves.

You are right, they probably don't need a get out of jail card as they can do whatever they want and just say "it is SISU's fault" and everybody backs off and forgets about them.

Has it been said they were desperate to get rid of the academy?

Wasps or csf said at the start of it that it wouldn't be possible to have the academy there with all of the stuff going on. It went from that, to the trust going off like wasps have saved the world because they had a whisper in their ear.

I just can't believe so many fall for it. It's like back in the day when somebody would come on here solely to start rumours about people at the club...

So sisu can sit back do nothing not attend meetings then say it was everyone else's fault.
Then everyone can be angry with all other parties while they slowly kill our club they have no desire for.
You can look at it both ways Nick.......

Absolutely. Half the Bellends that have been defending CCC and Wasps to the hilt will be nowhere to be seen in a week when there's football to talk about.

Yes they can't be football fans
If you support the team
You must blindly defend the owners when they make decisions that slowly destroy the club
SISU are CCFC
So I will bring my half SISU half CCFC scarf to the next game

People do think it's ok. The CET comments would prove that. Or do you not have the brain capacity to accept that? It's happening because we have a spiteful and hypocritical council. We have owners who know nothing about football. Owners who have no idea about what a club means to it's city and fans. Blindly defend every decision? No. Blindly defend my club against a local authority and franchise rugby club who have no consideration for my club and fellow fans as much as my clubs owners don't.

I see beyond SISU. I see a time where they will no longer be owners but my concern is what will be left of my club? We can't remove SISU, we can't really stop them doing what they want. We as fans and Coventry citizens can be a bit more vocal about the council and Wasps though. Make their life a bit more difficult rather than banging the SISU out drum which helps them destroy the club.

Well, if there are people who think that, they are idiots. We need a successful season to get rid of these leeches. You don't sell at the bottom of a cycle, remember.

How long have people been saying that? It's much harder now to find somebody to take us now the "option" to buy the stadium has gone and the academy is getting sacked off.

Still, when sisu have gone everything will magically be fixed

Behave! How long have SISU been shit owners? We still have a club don't we? Unless you're referring to the club being squeezed out by other parties because they don't like SISU? Wouldn't be that though, you're another one in the eye for SISU fan club. Go you!

Unless they put their hands up and admit they have failed, then make it
Possible for someone to take us on without zillions of debt.
( I don't think this will happen)
That's why sadly I'm struggling to see beyond SISU.
A promotion season is probably our only hope, but as someone already
Pointed out because I hate SISU this would leave me devastated.

Smaller and smaller in stature all the time .
If that trend carries on you do know where it will end don't you.

One of the main reasons SISU bought was due to the fact we were a one club city.

Ironically, its going that way, but that club will be Wasps

You must realise that.
