I don’t get why everyone is acting like well have Fadz injured the entire season when he’s supposed to be back in a month. It’s going to be a shit month unless Robins has something other than yet another Man City kid under his belt in the meantime, but it’s just a month.

So out of form they'd lost to 3 of the top 7 .. now with a manager bounce they've scored 8 in 2 and got 6 points
Dean smith was a problem, a big problem

Do games against the top 7 not count? We were literally 2 points off top six with a couple of games in hand before the world cup, so on ppg virtually a top 6 team. Norwich are now a top 7 team.

Dean Smith was the problem but they were still coming to us off a run of bad form, and we are currently in a run of bad form regardless of who we have played.

No one is saying we won't turn it around, just that it is concerning. We won't be relegated we have too many points on the board

He's not really had many injuries whilst he's been with us, this is probably his longest lay off. Just hope with his age he doesn't breakdown when he comes back.

Of course. Like any player. Let’s hope Vik doesn’t do his ACL before we can flog him. But now we’re just making up things to be worried about. We have a goal scorer and our captain who makes the defence work to come back. The idea that well be in the position we are now for the rest of the season doesn’t stack up. No more than that we’d have got autos after the run before the WC.

But the concern around Fadz potentially not returning to his previous capabilities is real. We’ve seen how players in their mid-30s can almost fall apart after an injury like this. It annoys me so much that we’ve not had any form of contingency/succession plan for him when he clearly won’t be able to carry on bailing us out forever. We’ve basically missed out a ‘generation’ of development players at centre back - hell, Michael Rose is our youngest contracted first team CB at 27!!

Well we had to flog our development CB for peanuts. The recruitment team has really dropped the ball since promotion at CB and WB. Just nothing there at all really other than L1 players. At least with Hyam Rose and Fadz they knew each other inside out. Once that breaks up we’ve got nothing and apparently not even a list of targets. We’ve needed a CB and a LWB for two and a half seasons and are still picking up random kids on loan to plug the gaps.

If we are realistic, we are a solid mid table team. Teams with bigger squads and bigger budgets will always have the edge on the run in. That's whey we are always nearly there but end up 16th-9th

In all competitions.

Lost O'Hare, lost Fadz, signed two players we really didn't need to play them in positions they don't play in.

This is shite

I'd almost forgotten just how many people we have on here who love to get hyped up over a bad run. Things haven't gone our way since the world Cup. I trust we will get it sorted. We are bang mid table, can beat any team on our day but run out of energy and talent when it comes to the bench. I'm hoping that changes in the summer
