play with the reserves !!
Give the players the rest they need and it will give us no fresh injuries !!
We need a fully fit team at Derby !!!!

Agreed. Give Dunn, Willis, McPake, Bigi, Ruffels, Jeffers and a couple of the U18's a game, mixed in with a couple of experienced players.

My team would be Dunn, willis, mcpake, wood, Hussey, bigirimana, ruffels, bell, deegan, Jeffers, Clarke-Harris. Does anyone think Eastwood will get a run? Are Clarke, platt, o'donovan and McDonald anywhere near fitness?

I'd love to secure next season's visits to the likes of Selhurst Park and London Road more than Villa Park right now.

League > FA Cup.

I think we should go with a fairly strong team, maybe make a couple of changes for the likes of Mcpake, Bigi and Dunn get some games. Winning games is important to give the players confidence so the more wins the better.

I think Juke (if we still have him) must rest! V Brighton, he was knackered and shouldnt have played the full 90. Today, he should have gone off much earlier. He knackered his back up in his first challenge for a header which was approx 2 minutes into the game. As per usual, he got up and got on with it.im not saying we should have subbed him immediately but atleast review it at HT. He did well to last 45 mins (including one occasion where he had to leapt into the segregated area of the stand because of their shitely narrow pitch! Its a death trap!

The strongest team will be played for the cup in the hope we win and get a big 4 club in round 4 to cash in .

You should always play your strongest team

I tend to agree. Plus with the limited numbers we have, this will probably be the case (although I stand by the above re Juke. He needs / deserves a rest)

just had a thought that if we win and get a big 4th rd tie like man city/arsneal at home etc,it could be coupled with a takeover

happy days?

hoping for the win!

Would love a win, I would honestly choose a trip to wembley and get relegated if I'm honest, I believe the fa cup is still the most exciting competition in the world.

Are you pissed? Choose a trip to wembley over relegation... Be realistic mate. Closest chance of us at wembley is next year in the Johnston paint or whatever its called now.

Why do we have to chose between staying up and progressing in the FA cup, why not try and do both. I have never got this pessimistic attitude that if you get knocked out of the cup nice and early you will win more games in the league.

One thing I notice is we haven't got enough fit professionals for a first team & reserve team, now what does that say!

1 Joe Murphy Goalkeeper
2 Richard Keogh Defender
3 Chris Hussey Defender
4 Sammy Clingan Midfielder *injured
6 James McPake Defender
7 David Bell Midfielder *maybe injured
8 Carl Baker Midfielder
9 Lukas Jutkiewicz Striker *injured
10 Freddy Eastwood Striker *unfit
11 Gary McSheffrey Striker
12 Gary Deegan Midfielder
13 Chris Dunn Goalkeeper
14 Cody McDonald Striker *injured
15 Martin Cranie Defender
19 Roy O'Donovan Striker *injured
22 Clive Platt Striker *injured
23 Daniel Ireland Goalkeeper
24 Richard Wood Defender
26 Jordan Clarke Defender
27 Shaun Jeffers Striker
28 Callum Wilson Striker *on loan
30 Nathan Cameron Defender *injured
31 Cyrus Christie Defender
32 Conor Thomas Midfielder
33 Lee Burge Goalkeeper
34 Gael Bigirimana Midfielder
35 Joshua Ruffels Midfielder
36 Aaron Phillips Midfielder
37 Jordan Willis Defender

I don't think the other academy players have pro. contracts, do they need them to play in FA cup?
