Interesting stuff. The reason for our recent demise goes way above the manager's head; something any City fan with sense appreciates.

The bit on people learning and adapting and patience being required is also very true of our new team. Let's not forget that this is a team that's had its spine ripped out and is starting again; the impatience of many of our fans before the season has even started doesn't bode well.

It is very likely that we'll struggle to get promoted this season. Something a few are going to have accept.

But your argument belies all logic. So we never sack him, let him stay for all eternity. I'm sure eventually we will get to a level that equated to his managerial ability.

Why oh why have you got such a downer on AT? He is a limited man, trying to do a huge job in near impossible circumstances, give him a break already! He needs a licence to fail, we need to regroup and rebuilt over a period of years, there is no shortcut to success.
