We played him down the middle the last 14-15 games of the season, he just naturally drifts out wide. He just isn't a goalscorer.

Nothing against him but he was sub against Crawley and Proschwitz started. That should tell you all you need to know.

Not many because he rarely gets in the 6 yard box!

Because hes been told to hold other positions bollocks has he played down the middle the past 16 odd games, he has not played centrally down the middle hardly at all.

The only real time was at Chesterfield where he scored the winner by the way in a valuable 3 points and came on and won us the game on Sunday.. Hes not a out and out goalscorer never has been, but hes certainly worth having in your squad in this division.

As I stated before, coaching + love + down the middle with a side with width and two wingers = nouble goals.

Personally I think you are wrong. He's not a goalscorer. No amount of love is going to make him a goalscorer. 2 wingers pinging in crosses aren't going to make him a goalscorer. Look at his record here and everywhere he's been. Samuel came in and looked the part, scored goals for fun and always looked like scoring. Frank doesn't. There are better more effective players in this league than him, and that's why he should be released and replaced.

And yes he's been playing through the middle. 44fecking2 under Mowbray.

-----nouble----proswitchz/Tudguy
JOB---fleck----ward----Barton
Defence---
Goalkeeper.

He did the same under SP, always drifting wide or deep to turn and run at people, which is why he brought Madine in, he said that we didn't have a striker that gets in the box.

I think he makes a good squad player and has been more effective than the likes of the German, I know all about his record and where hes been before, for the record he was played out of position at the likes of Wolves and Ipswich too.

No hes never going to be 15-20 goals a season, but he did score at vital moments for us last season and defenders did not like being up against him, I would keep but be mindful that hes not a bloody winger.

Strikers live on service, when he was up front we offered him fuck all hence him coming out the left looking for the ball, or covering behind him.

Wouldn't you even have him as a squad player. I still think he can offer us something if a better player came available then Frank could be an impact in the second half when other teams are getting tired and weak. I would give him one more season and if he doesn't do the job get rid

Personally I wouldn't. If we have any ambitions of promotion we need consistent players and a tight squad. I think there are better players e.g. Jay Emmanual Thomas is similar but better and has just been released.

Let's see what Mowbray does. I think he'll cut him loose.

More chance of Connor Thomas scoring a 30 yard rocket than Jay Emmauel Thomas joining here, considering he is on 3x the amount someone like Nouble is.

I am by no means saying Nouble is a world beater or would indeed get you 20 a season, just is a decent option to have in your squad at this level, important goals vs Gillingam, Fleetwood, game changer vs Chesterfield / Crawley state this.

As for going out to the left alot yes he does this and its frustrating but its part of the set up as both managers last season knew our left side was an issue so Frank was forced to cover that side more often than getting himself in around the box, oh and when he did manage to get into the box he actually managed to score.

IIRC Mowbray did withdraw Samuels for a few games and Frank played through the middle Scoring those three goals In that spell

Thing that annoys me the most about Nouble, besides his anonymity, is that of him being in great positions to cross the ball and instead, him taking shots from impossible angles.

So annoying when he does that and that chance is lost.

Chance wasn't lost on Sunday for Maddison's winner.

Indeed not. Just how many times previously though has he failed to cross?

It's great he passed the ball on Sunday for Maddison, but if he had have done so against Crewe and Oldham instead of going for a shot from a ridiculous angles, we just might not have found ourselves in the position we found ourselves in going into that final game against Crawley.

I really rated the bloke earlier in the season, but there is only so much anonymity you can take from a player, game after game after game.

No Samuel only missed the first of those games. All three of Samuel, nouble and Tudguy played in the other 2 games. Freddie Eastwood once scored a hatrick for us, let's sign him up.
