Yep. Fine if we want to keep Mowbray, but we will then have to say goodbye to the play-off dream this season and hope he will give it a better go next year. He just seems unwilling to change the system. One up top in Armstrong and not enough bodies supporting that one striker. We try to one two our way through teams and they have totally cottoned on to this. Not sure who would come in but a change is needed if we want to finish top 6.

So, I've not been since the Walsall and Burton games but since then, things seem to have gone from bad to worse.
When Mowbray was appointed, I was one of only a few who were unsure about his appointment. Not based on anything in particular but I just didn't feel excited by his appointment. To his credit, this season started amazingly and I was eating some humble pie. But things have gone ridiculously wrong in the past 3 months.
I think if it was any other manager, we'd be calling for his head right now and personally, I don't think we should wait to change the manager. I suspect the majority on here will probably disagree but if we harbour any ambition this season to go up, we need some alternative leadership on the run in.
This is our best shot in years of a top 6 finish and Mowbray seems incapable of motivating the players for the fight. I know it's supposedly a 2 year plan and I'm not one for constant changing of the manager but if we don't act soon, we'll limp home mid table and start from square one in summer.
Somethings not right behind the scenes I suspect. Sorry chaps, for me, we need a change if we're to continue and think about a play off spot....

Totally understand where you are coming from.
However if at the start of the season someone said on March 5th we would be 7th with a game in hand and you will be asking for a change of manager would you believe them?
ThIs because you have underestimated what has been built at Burton over several seasons. I knew they would be up there but expected them Gatoradeinto a play off place. Although I did say just before we played them at home, after getting promotion last season why should their players get a nosebleed this season? They have proved they can lead from the front. If I was told we'd be well behind burton i would have laughed my head off.

I didn't go today so can't comment on that, but once the play off dream has gone I wouldn't play Maddison anymore as we have nothing to gain and probably some of the others as well.
How the hell can you blame the owners for our poor form?
What a load of bollocks. How much money do you want them to throw away? We already have a top 6 budget and we are currently 7th. That this is the fault of the owners is an embarrassing stance to take.It goes to show you how football can change over a short space of time.
The same players and squad, formation and team that got us in top 6 on fire. Either somethings happened behind the scenes causing disharmony or it is really the case that we are one dimensional, predictable and teams have sussed it out.
If I was an opposing manager my tactics would be clear. Double up on Armstrong, put 4 at the back and 5 in the middle and stop us playing through the middle.
For me, the above is happening, slowly grinding the players confidence as each bad result occurs.
TM has made some bad signings, some maybe through desperation (we've had this with Pressley). Due to defensive injuries we now have 2 kids at centre half. Maddison's signed for Norwich and has been built up too much. Fortune and Tudgay & bigi offer us nothing. Once teams block fleck, Murphy and AA we are relegation fodder.
Whether we do well or not, the main problem has been and will be our owners. All of our good players this season bar fleck/vincelot are loans that all move on. We need proper owners to invest and have a platform to build on. As it stands we won't have ANY success.

Web definition of invest:
put (money) into financial schemes, shares, property, or a commercial venture with the expectation of achieving a profit.
Note the last three words in particular.

Just a blip
We are in the top 10 and calling for his head, FFS guys...
Blip? A blip is not scoring in a couple of games or going a couple of games pointless after a run of wins.
We've been shit since November.
Loaded dice oscillate wildlyLet's be honest, managers (not just at this club) have been sacked for better result returns over a similar ten week period. I wouldn't necessarily argue with continually WD40ing that managerial revolving door. If you keep rolling those dice, double 6 will eventually come in!
We thought we'd managed it twelve months ago but there is now a strong suggestion that those dice were loaded.
Everybody is behind BurtonIf I was told we'd be well behind burton i would have laughed my head off.
Otis will you now listen to me.... ive posted and said on other posts we need someone who can manage the motivation of a team not just a guy and his backroom staff who can attract good signings....James Vardy and the like were motivated to play above thier usual platform.....Yep. Teams have adapted their game to counter the way we play. We in turn have just tried to keep on playing the same way.
The most worrying thing about TM is that if we fail to make the play-offs, that will be three times he has blown such a great position in the top 6. Twice with Middlesborough and once with us.
That's one hell of a chink in his armour. If it happens this third time then I have all but no faith in him to get it right next time. If he hasn't learned after 3 disastrous slides down the table he never will.
Paxil i live near west brom, all the baggies fans are laughing at mobrays stint with us, the guy is a fake manager dependant on his backroom staff .....lets bin him now before its too lateGood grief! TM is the best manager we have had in years. Still confident he will turn this atrocious form around and we will be in the play off's.
