Happy memories - that was a few weeks before the Arsenal Boxing Day game which was probably just about the high point, then Froggat was finished by Sunderland (have I ever mentioned that I hate Nicky Summerbee?), we lost the Charlton cup game after being 2-0 up and it's been downhill ever since.
Just think how well with could have done without the clueless Shaw & Williams at the back. A front 5 of McAllister, Froggatt, Hadji, Roussell & Keane was brilliant, would die for a team like that now.
It's nice to be able to look back and see that once upon a time we could actually play the game and win. Look at some of the players we had in that team. McAllister, Keane, Hadji, Froggatt. Even Roussell was demon in the air back then. If we'd have had even 3 or 4 away wins that season, we'd have been comfortably top half, maybe even pushing for the UEFA cup.

Completely agree. We had the talent in that squad to do so much more with it. I've never seen a city squad with so much talent in it. And yet whilst we had such an incredible home record, our away form really held us back. I suppose that's the way with Coventry City though. Nothing is ever as simple as it could be. But you really do have to wonder where that season might have ended up if our away form tallied with our home form.

Glad im not the only one. That video has just made me feel really really sad. To think we are so so unlikely to ever see us at that level again is heart breaking.
