Got to be honest, that pitch at Meadow Lane was shocking, if Northampton is anything like as bad then don't expect much free flowing football for a couple of months !!
For once I'm glad I live in this part of the Midlands though, looking at the shocking water levels now rising around the Thames and elsewhere. It's one thing debating the weathers effect on a game of footie but another if your house is about to be trashed !!
