All I’ve wanted for some time is a match engine that wasn’t wank. That should always have been the priority instead of tinkering with the UISome details of FM25 were released today. As someone who's played all but 2 editions since CM93, I can't help but worry that the whole PC experience will be watered down and end up like a mobile game.

Haji is unreal in FM, I always look for Inverted Wingers or Inside Forwards similar to him stylistic wise, unless like in my Southampton save where I get a Brazilian wonderkid Mezzala who pops 20 goals a season then I get a more stronger defensive and assisterGot FM24 when it was free for a period of time the other week (would have posted about it in here if I knew this thread existed!)
Got the updated database. Signed Matty James of course. Which was handy because then Eccles broke his ankle and Sheaf pulled his hamstring or something.
Came second behind Norwich. Wright was class, league top scorer with 25 odd goals.
There's always a point in FM games where you get so far in the game completely turns in on itself, I think 2033/34 is that point for me

I quite enjoyed a venture out to France in my rtg, its always fun to try different places and can give you a reputation boost if you get them competing at the topI've recently started the Pentagon challenge - start unemployed with no badges and have to win the Champions League (or equivalent) in five different continents. I've owned every CM and all but one FM since 92/93, and other than the italia version this is the first time I've managed abroad. It's a very different experience, as you don't have the time to build a legacy (or build up finances). Finding it challenging at times, which is a very refreshing thing after so many years of playing.

There were only 3 players from the current team in there when he took over, EMC, Rudoni and Eccles with Eccles being the last to leave.For those, like me, who love FM there one of the biggest FM streamers (Lollujo) is currently playing as Coventry in their Non-League to Legend playthrough.
Well worth the watch for all FM lovers and for those who enjoy gaming content.
I managed to win the African Champions League with City Rovers (weird name). Then won four Indonesian League One titles with Perish on the way to failing to claim the Asian Champ League - could only make it to the semi-final at best - so I resigned and moved to CZ Mighty Lions (another weird name) in China in search of that elusive silverware. Two seasons in and we're stupidly rich (£80m in the bank) but even bang average Chinese players are priced in the multi-millions and no-one wants to join as the club repuation is almost non-existant. I have to just load one specific league at a time (all divisions), expanding to a second when I need to change countries. I'm in 2043 now, with only the one Chinese division loaded, and it takes forever to chug through a season. If I don't complete the challenge it'll probably be my laptop that stops me.I'd luv to load every league in the world on there & play but I think my laptop would explode
