Enjoying it so far, biggest improvement is how well the 3D match engine runs compared to recent years, particularly as my graphics card really ought to struggle with anything more taxing than Pong.

The key was also keeping squad morale consistently high, praising the players at every opportunity.
Tyler Walker scored 21 goals and my only signing was Liam Millar on loan from Liverpool. Bapaga scored a few screamers so worth delevoping him.

You can assign things like that to your Assistant if you want.
Alternatively, if the main game is a bit in depth for what you're looking for, try the Touch version, it strips away most of the more complex bits.
How do you do the specific graphic backgrounds?Always love how customisable it is, I've been having a play around with the graphics & put in some backgrounds which I think massively improve the immersion.
Ignore that my photos make it look a little dark, it looks great in game.

I recommend setting the transparency to around 40/50 so that the text on top is legible.
After that I downloaded my own CCFC backgrounds & edited the config.xml files to add them like this:
