Perhaps they can also expel owners that are useless/incompetent for bringing the game into disrepute. Won't hold my breath though

Really does take the biscuit, we haven't had fit and proper owners since the SISU clowns took over and what did the FL do about it? Naff all. Football's supposed governing bodies nowadays are a disgrace.

FIFA - especially Blatter - are downright criminal ( in my opinion ) and they are destroying the game from the top downwards. Blatter can't give his job up as the shit would hit the fan. He will blag it until he dies and keep getting himself elected until that day by giving out favours to get votes. Putin got him to Lobby for Russia - apparently. How much did that cost?

The football league is small fry in comparison and they are an owners' club. Expect nothing from them and you will not be disappointed.

The morals in football are set by FIFA, the govering body. As fans we are just fodder for big business and corrupt officials. We buy the branded goods, pay our Sky subscriptions, watch TV channels who have paid for the rights and pay our entrance money. Huge amounts of money and prestige are being snapped up by people who don't really give a toss.

As with SISU, these people are bringing the game into disrepute and may one day kill the goose that is laying the golden egg. One day people may say "enough is enough". Maybe after the Russia and Qatar world cups. I already hate FIFA and to a certain extent SISU.

It's a bit of a joke really as Cellino is allowed to come back on 18 March 2015, he's just gonna put someone in charge on his behalf until that point. Seems pointless.

A lot of unfounded accusations there. In fact the Putin one is the most ridiculous.

So they have stopped him being the owner ................ until 25th March 2015 ............ 4 months!

Apparently the effect of his conviction is considered to be spent by that time and he can be the owner again. Given the appeal process, the Xmas break, etc then have they really banned him or simply going through the motions and there is no real substance to this "punishment"

With the appeals with will be March so effectively wont have to 'leave' at all. Another in a long line of dodgy owners, Rangers is another example of how badly owners can mis manage a club but at least action was taken (bit harsh in my opinion).

The issue with our wonderful owners is that they have walked along that tightrope of rules rather than stepped over the line (or at least not been caught). Its immoral but not technically breaking the rules however..

Makes you really wonder how our owners are fit and proper when they have no clue how to run a football club !!!
