Here are some of the relevant stats. I've avoided comparing to the league average because our mighty numbers skew them quite a lot (woo, us!) and I can't be bothered to remove us as an outlier.
We are ranked 8th in the Football league for average away attendance, an increase of just 500 on previous seasons. This is a 43% increase on last season and ranks us 13th. We're second place, behind Wolves, in the highest away attendance, courtesy of MK Dons.

Our total admissions for the season were 59,106. This is down 77% on last year and ranks us 69th in the Football Leagues, 24th in League 1. This is the highest percentage change of any team, with Yeovil following us at only 63%.

One thing the figures suggest is that Sixfields is a turn-off for away fans as well as home fans. Excluding the teams promoted and relegated to League 1, CCFC was the only club already in the division to see a fall in attendance from visiting fans last year (down 19%). All the others saw increases, ranging from Brentford (up 3%) to MK Dons (up 62%).
Might I respectfully suggest Cov fans avoid the Franchise FC away match next season? SISU followed where they led and putting 100k into the back pocket of Winkie - Mr Franchise himself - doesn't really help you get your message out to other teams supporters.
A big protest in Cov on 23 August might be more productive? Or all turn up to Bedworths match or something?
I just feel people should stand up for real football and Cov fans are right at the heart of that currently.

Agreed. I have to admit, I followed the horde down last season and have been regretting my actions since. I kind of shat on my own principles regarding our, and therefore other's fiasco. I won't be going there again.
Mind you, you've gone and pooped on your "neutral" stance by recommending the "duff". Disgraceful.
