Fifty years a fan shows in my choices but I could add loads more really.I like the players you've mentioned and Lightning was the first keeper I saw as a kid followed by Wesson.

If I remember right, Lightning would come on half cut, good goalkeeper but always drunk. Transferred to the Boro, them walked out on them and went back to SA. Not my choice.

Cannot believe you have John Tudor ahead of Bobby Gould or Ian Wallace.
I'd probably find a place in midfield for Ron Farmer, arguably our best penalty-taker ever.
By the way Ernie Machin was an inside forward not a midfielder.
IMHO Rees was miles better than Hutchinson or Huckerby.
What about Mo Konjic and Moustapha Hadjii?

Don't see what was special about Ken Hale. He was good at corner kicks but we had plenty of inside-forwards much better than him.

Yes for trickery on the wing Les Cartwright Peter Barnes Don Nardiello and Roger Van Gool were far superior.
