Why then when Thorn took over did he immediately deploy Clarke (prevoiusly a fringe player) as full back and Keogh at centre half. Wood was available. Why did he prefer Christie to Wood on the opening day of the season and why did fans last season applaud the decision to play the young un-tried full backs as he did. He also stated publicly Keogh was his number 1 choice centre half and has never played under Thorn.

No in AT's first game he played a back four of
Clarke
Keogh
Wood
O'halloran

Cranie was injured and Cameron was on the bench along with Hussey.

And Tbf you could argue that Hussey was far more experienced than O'Halloran who'd only made 8 first team starts and 3 appearances prior to moving o Coventry.

The next game hussey started, then the game after wood was injured but cranie had recovered from his injury - Cameron and o'halloran were on the bench
