Just bad planning. All the signs point to the A444 from the ring road but it’s not the best route. They either need to hobble Foleshill Road or make it significantly better cos it’s the de facto route from the M6 to town.

It certainly is for visitors as they will follow their sat nav, and that will almost always take them up the FR as it is usually the quickest route. Nobody follows sign posts these days.
