Any youngster on here who have never seen Brian Cough in action should look at anything they can watch on Youtube just to see how great the best manager never to manage England was.

We could so easily have achieved what Forest did with Clough at the helm, very similar Clubs
in stature and fan base, he and Peter Taylor would have no doubt assembled the same group
of players here ‘as they did there.....if only.

The way that guy built a team out of players other team would not have even look at John McGovern was a great example

Revealing a few things that we didn’t know-went out with his mate when only 10 years old and the friend got hit/killed by a car and died next to him. Something difficult to carry around for the rest of your life even though it wasn’t Gazza’s fault.

I watched the 4 year plan today and thought it was ok, seemed to fly by a little so didn't get enough detail. THe requesting a sub scene was mad and they seemed all a bit mental but the whole thing felt like 'quick scene of them losing, fire manager, win, interview, lose, fire manager, angry, hire manager, fall out, hire Warnock, win league, done'

Half way through Big Ron - Bleasedale is a bit of a cock - not sure all that sweary shouty stuff does much good for motivation - his style of person to person was shite ! Watched they think it’s all rovers - they and posh have come a long way since

Seems like he was mainly using us as leverage to get more funding out of Derby

Below is the Chester documentary from the time when an American bought the club and tried being manager.

You're right about Clough, but Peter Taylor had strong Cov connections, and I'm sure would have happily come here.

Watched the Chester one - always sad for any team to get relegated but the yank had no idea - finished Big Ron manager - very interesting even the wife watched it - still don’t reckon the team talks need the sweary stuff - Ron didn’t often swear
