I'd take 3 weeks, it could have been months. It might be a blessing in disguise. I feel we will become very reliant on him. We need to learn to win without him.

Baker could play that role imo, McSheffrey is ok as a winger or attacking wide player but doesn't have the creative mind needed for the focal point of our attack. I'm not convinced Baker does either tbh, but can't be worse than McSheffrey.

Or perhaps Barton there with Jennings coming in to his old position. Very defensive midfield, but might be what we need.

Jennings might take a few games to settle in. At least he is playing at a lower level than he has been used to. That is unless you think that clubs like Yeovil are as good as SPL clubs

So with this news, what are people's thoughts?

Macca showed he's not good enough to play well in that position...not yet anyway if he doesn't bucks his ideas up.

I'm thinking Baker should get his shot. I'm also of a mind to put Elliot there. He looks sharp and could provide a good source of through balls to ball and cody.

But barring those three...who would you put In that attacking position?

This is why those who say you don't need a bid squad were wrong. I am very glad we have assembledva decent sized squad. We are only one week in and already need to utilize it.
Just hoping we get back up for cody.

I'd agree. Sheff was definitely lacking in confidence on Saturday. Even if he does play, he shouldn't be taking set pieces.

Looks good to me. Also, I hope Elliot gets another run out. He looked quite sharp at Yeovil.
