I don't think I've started a negative thread about a player before but to me he just looks worse every game.

Today was shocking - does he ever pass to a CCFC player?

The real point though is Waggot and Pressley agreed to this guy extending his contract. Why? Who would want him anyway?

Christ these two clowns will be giving Jackson a 3 year deal next.

Waggot and Pressley haven't a clue about signing players. Shut the pair of them in a dark room - give them the Lugar and put them out of our misery.

Play him where he likes to play, let him off the leash, then judge him.

Where is that then? He seems to like playing deep as he gets more time on the ball.

If Mark Robins took over tomorrow, he would i immediately go out sign 2 midfielders and Fleck wouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up.

He's living off his past reputation, however the idea of fleck is greater than reality of fleck.

Beside a tough tacking hard midfielder and his remit should be go forward and create.

It's not that complicated two wingers
Fleck and JOB competing for the creative midfielder role and a nasty so and so beside one of them.

If you want evidence of how clueless we our, then it is the releasing of Carl Baker not the passing of Fleck

We've not seen fleck be creative for his entire ccfc career.

And I'm not sure what Baker has to do with how woeful fleck was today, and actually how poor he has been in general for over a year now.

Swanson plays well, wins a pen = get dropped
Thomas plays distinctly average = gets dropped
Barton plays ok for 5-6 games -= gets dropped
Tudguy has a stormer and scores = gets dropped
Fleck has a run of poor form/has a stinker= guaranteed starter

There comes a time when we need to accept 1) he's not the type of player we thought he was and 2) he's not as good as we thought he was. For me he is by far the most overrated player we have.

Fleck telegraphs a lot of his crossfield passes one in the second half was easily intercepted and lead to a dangerous counter attack. Simply overrated a midfield containing Fleck & Finch is always going to struggle.

For me fleck is one of our best players every week. If we played him further forward and had runners in behind he could thread balls forward to he'd look even better. We never have runners in behind he can thread through balls to ,between centre half sand full backs.

Jim o'brien gives the ball away much more often

Not sure how you can blame Pressley (apart from picking him). I'm sure Pressley's instructions aren't "John, try and give the ball away when you can. Make even the simplest pass an impossibility".

Really? Each to their own obviously, but Fleck for me is piss poor. Can't pass, can't tackle, never takes the game by the scruff of the neck. O'Brien is head and shoulders above him. I'd be more than happy to get a bit of money for Fleck and let him go.

No his instructions are don't get ahead of the ball, you might accidentally get into an attacking position and score a goal

Fleck passes the ball well if it is sideways or backwards and short as soon as it goes forward it tends to go to the opposition.

Agree with all your points apart from the last
Which is what people said about baker, cody, Jordan Clarke
They all go off and do well elsewhere. Wrong systems and playing styles. Decent players

People have also said the same about ROD, Platt, Brown, Julien Gray, Malaga, edge, Thornton, barry quinn, elliot, boozy, hughes, de Zeux, the list goes on and on.....

I liked clarke but he's hardly gone on to prove us wrong, baker was paid too much otherwise would still be here and he's hardly proved us wrong - he scored goals here and is doing the same at MK Dons, I'll give you cody, however he wouldn't fit with SP's tippy tappy bollocks that he's tried to play for 2 years.

Pressley has his favourites, Webster, Fleck and arguably O'Brien too. Wonder what they all have in common...

If Pressley was really as clueless and unrespected by the players as people on her make out. If he was trying to suppress my talent so much to the detriment of the team and my reputation; I don't think I could be that subservient on the pitch.

I really don't know about Fleck.

He's highly rated and on paper a good player. But has never done it for CCFC.

Could guarantee if he left though, he'd become a different player  but it'd be worth getting a fee for him IMO, then SP will HAVE to bring in a good CM

A player like Fleck is good to have in a team. He can hold onto the ball whilst players get forward then start an attack. The problem is that we don't seem to like starting attacks. We have too many defence minded midfielders. This makes them all look shite. How can anyone look good just trying to keep hold of the ball and not go anywhere or do anything with it?

Confidence? Not prepared to take risks? Everyone making safe passes? Everyone happy just to look okay?

Indeed we currently have a multi-cultural blend to the team
