Bradley dack voted no 1.
Plenty of goal scorers but no place for AA.

Such a shame we didn't get Ajose, looks like Swindon are safe too unfortunately.

I was thinking the other day, Armstrong had scored 5 goals in his first 3 games this season. He's only scored 14 goals in the last 40 games.

Had we got Ajose to play with Armstrong as per the original plan we wouldn't be where we are now, that is for sure.

Few surprises in that list.

He's scored more than one goal in more than one game too. His record on the basis of games scored in is probably around 1/4 or worse.

Easily one the best strikers in this league even at 19, his goals dried up when we changed the dynamics of our forward play.

Enough said.

I find it hard to know if the list is right or wrong as I have only seen most of the players on it once or maybe twice this year, all the opposition managers must have watched Fleck at the same few games or left at half time.

The latter me thinks.

Or maybe all the opposition managers just want us to keep him.

He is going on to bigger and better things and will get to disappoint a whole new group of fans

I'm not surprised fleck features. He clearly is a quality level above most in this division. Yes he drifts out of games and has poor games but overall he makes us tick

That is just it, he is not a quality level above this division at all, that is why he is 15th in the list. Why do we keep marking up the ability of our players then get disappointed when they don't deliver?

Are you honestly saying the top 15 league one players aren't capable of playing in the championship. Think again. That would mean no promoted clubs would ever compete.

Some of them might be capable, it doesn't mean they're on another level altogether. If they were on another level they'd be just as effective in the Championship. That is just a list of good League One players, nothing more.

There must be a reason why CCFC haven't fended off bids for Fleck over the past 4 years. Where are all these Championship clubs who would want a player of his quality?

Not saying he couldn't play there but he wouldn't stand out. He doesn't dominate games for 60 or 70 minutes does he? Neither is he a 20 minute player that devastates the opposition. He is a decent player at this level and that is all.

On the games i have seen I think Dack,Sawyers and Bradshaw will do well in the championship Grigg does score goals and I missed the Millwall and Swindon games so can't comment on Ajose or Gregory.

I have posted on here before that people won't realise how good Fleck is until he's not here anymore.
A good player doesn't necessarily need to dominate play all the time - there is a saying that goes 'you never notice a good centre half'.
Still, seems a few keyboard pundits on here know more than the 24 managers in League One...

Is a bit of surprise as they have nearly all scored the same amount, winnalls goals have dried up like AA. Bradshaw has been stedily consistent over the season

He's scored in 11 matches out of 37 he's played in so more than a quarter but not quite a third.

No he's scored in 6 matches out of the last 26

I think you might have meant 4 matches in the last 23? which is what stupot posted earlier.

Not surprised re Fleck at all, he is by far our best player. Seems strange that all our recent managers have rated him, other managers now show they rate him, the tv pundits rate him, but a minority of our fans do nt.
Its all about opinions, I agree, but hey most people actually involved in football think hes a good player at our level.
i hope he stays but if he goes it will be to a higher league than ours and I ll wish him all the best.

Will Grigg took a while to settle in at Wigan but was always going to be a top player for this division.
The top three are accurate.

Another I'd have expected to see though is that Anthony Grant. Though he controlled both games against us and would love to see him here one day

Regarding Fleck, he looked like he was going to be our player of the season this year, had a great start but fell apart just before Christmas and since the contract situation has been hanging over his head he's clearly been distracted and hasn't performed so am slightly surprised he's up there but he's clearly got ability

Do you think Fleck is still here out of loyalty or he stayed because he wanted to win trophies or nobody in the championship were interested last summer or when he was avialable to talk to clubs from January onwards. We could be paying him huge money but any decent players we've had recently tended to have received offers they couldn't refuse and left the club. He's still here and talking about a new contract

I agree with you he is one of our best players and good player at this level. It is when people start saying he is a cut above this level that I don't agree with. Yes he could play in the Champioship but would be no more than a squad player for the vast majority of teams at that level.

I thought this was the season for him to come to the fore and for us to build a team around him. We helped him by signing Vincent and Fleck started well. But like our promotion bid he fell away and has come up a little short of what is really required.
