Great game yesterday. A few months ago I was shouted down about him getting into the Scotland team and I think his consistancy is now obvious and evident so once again I say the same. Nick you ask people to do a 'rating' and to most away games, and a few home ones I can do for you. Before, I was always on GMK and Westterrace and sad to say their demise is saddening. Westterrace has always been my fav site for CCFC and has had some amazing contibutors, ie like Phil and Ultra. GMK has also been good but lost their best guys, like Otis, because of abusive or childish contributors. Now SBT is the best for CCFC fans due in part to Nick. He has stayed level headed even though some people on here are fanatical in their opinions especially about off fieldi issues. I stilll think SBT can succeed where others haven't and I think whether you go to games or not we should all support Nick to get this site back to where it should belong 'at the top'. I don't share most on here's opinions but I respect you all as individuals, Let's support Nick in this way. I'll be Orient in midweek so I'll post ratings.

People ought to stop whinging about how they were 'shouted down', the victim mentality at this place is rife. Richard Keys habitually does it too, so nobody can doubt his credentials as a fan.

Right, I'm saving that so I can use it for my 'poor me' post around November. You'll get 10% commission if published.

I think Fleck was our best player yesterday. Didn't put a foot wrong and distributed the ball around brilliantly. Looked calm" composed and confident. I think he and Thomas can built a great partnership and control games, something we need to be doing. Only downer was that our second half performance was not as sharp and we let them back into the game.

Fleck was excellent on Saturday, looked a cut above this level. If I recall there was one stray pass, he can beat players, tackles well, an excellent performance.

SP says that's "his best position" whst role does he have in the middle? Is he like a pirlo as in everything goes through him snd he dictates the game. Does he play deeper than he used to?

But Thorne played him in a midfield with Jennings Sheffers Kilbane the slowest midfield in Cov's history.

Yeah I was joking, I gave Thorn a lot of stick, but fair play to him for Fleck. More proof he was a scout and not a manager.

out of the 3 games i've gone to so far this season (shrewsbury, port vale & stevenage)
i reckon that fleck has got progressively better, against shrews i thought has passing was pretty awful, got better against vale and was good value at stevenage. so if he keeps on improving thats fine by me.
