For those in the ground, how did it look?

Is it something for fans groups here to look at or too Waspsy?

Ours would end upside down

I prefer scarfs , scarfs look better , with a couple of big flags on poles at the bottom and top of singers corner

I suppose it looked ok but I just find it embarrassing and a massive waste of time. Loads of plastic flags knocking about everywhere now.

No it was incredibly cringe. The flags were really shiny and weird. It looked like a Mimi Webb tribute

I went Germany to watch 3 games over Kings coronation weekend....they approach it the right way.....plastic flags are crap and look tacky. I agree with Evo on the big flags with poles or a massive banner against the back of the stadium wall in singers corner

Would you even be allowed a massive flag on a pole at the CBS?

As long as there is at least a 2 block gap between the flag and the pole

Who is it that's recommended for doing the flags, looking for one to take to Wembley, although 1 week turnaround might be pushing it!

Definitely too Waspy. They had sheets of red plastic in the stand to our left as well. Don’t know what the hell they were supposed to be but what i do know is the planet is is in environmental melt down and they’re banging out thousands of pointless disposable plastic. Good work, see you in hell.

also It does seem to invite disappointment as Notts “roar us to Wembley” County can testify.

Just bring it in at the same time as a mate with a coke bottle top in his pocket as a decoy.

Love the photo of the scarves at Anfield. Nothing to love about all those individual plastic flags, sheets of paper to hold up, clappers or Notts County T shirts for me. Apart from being horrendous for the environment and probably made by someone in a horrible sweatshop,, I think it looks cocky and over confident. Do the scarf hold up thing when we sing PUSB, allow more custom made flags to be displayed, and where there is a space, commission something to go along the exposed wall etc

In 1987 just about every car in Coventry had ribbons on their aerials.

I remember the remnants of those still being on some cars well into the 90s

Please no. It looked plastic and embarrassing. Little flags are in the same category as clappers and foam hands, it was all very Wycombe/Leicester.

The Boro tifo looked pretty good, but I find it weird that English fans would borrow so heavily from foreign football culture when we have such a strong tradition of our own - the whole ultras thing has always just seemed a bit weird to me.
